For everyone
Manage event visibility and settings
Keep an event internal, share its page by link, or show it in public listings.
Open Events, choose an event, then open Edit → Settings. A venue or entertainer can keep an event in its internal calendar without giving visitors a page.
- Publish event page is off for a new event. Leave it off while planning. The event remains manageable internally, and visitors cannot open its URL. Turn it on to publish after reviewing the details. The other page settings are unavailable while it is off.
- Show in public listings is off for a new event. With the page published and this setting off, the event is unlisted: anyone with the link can open it, but it does not appear in public profiles, calendars, embeds, feeds or search results. Unlisted is not invitation-only or password-protected. Turn this setting on for a publicly listed event.
- Accept entertainer offers starts off for a new venue event. It controls eligible incoming offers; existing offers are retained when you turn it off. Page visibility does not grant an entertainer permission to offer.
- Guest registration starts on. Turn it off to make a published page information only. New free and native paid registrations stop; existing guests, issued tickets, orders and cancellation access remain.
- Admission offers Free or Paid only when guest registration is on. Paid native tickets need the selected seller’s ready Stripe connection. You can use the gigiii page or provide a custom HTTPS destination; Pretix remains a supported paid option. If guests or transactions have committed to the current admission mode, the editor may block a change and explain why.
Changes throughout the event editor save automatically after a short pause. A repeating event asks which occurrences to update. Fix any validation error shown before leaving. Unpublishing removes the visitor page and listings but keeps the event’s URL, guest history, tickets and orders. Publishing it again uses the same URL. Private event and booking details are never part of the public page.
