Create a venue capability profile providers can use
Reduce unsuitable enquiries and avoid day-of surprises with a clear, practical description of your venue.
A venue profile should help the right partners say yes with confidence and the wrong fit opt out early. It is an operational asset, not just a gallery.
Describe the room as it works
Include usable capacity, layout options, load-in route, stage dimensions, power, sound limits, lighting, access, and curfew constraints. Use plain language and current photos. A provider needs to understand what the room can support on a real working day.
State your operating rhythm
Explain when the space is available, how long setup can take, who makes decisions on site, and what must be agreed before arrival. This prevents a creative plan from colliding with service, neighbours, or staffing.
Make quality expectations visible
Share the audience, the format that suits the venue, and the standards partners must meet. A transparent capability profile produces fewer speculative enquiries and stronger repeat relationships.
