# Allow entertainers to offer for a venue event
Open an upcoming venue event to entertainer offers and review them as bookings.

1. Open [Events](/marketplace/events) and create or edit an event hosted by your venue. Give it a start and end time.
2. In the event editor's **Settings**, turn on **Allow offers for this event** and save. The event can then be selected in an offer to your venue while it is upcoming and scheduled or postponed.
3. If you publish the event, eligible entertainers can use **Submit an offer for this event** on its public page. You can also use **Find talent** in the event's **Bookings** step to approach entertainers yourself.
4. Review event-linked offers in the event's **Bookings** step or in [Bookings](/marketplace/bookings). Discuss details and review the proposal before agreeing to an entertainer's final offer.

Turning off **Allow offers for this event** stops new event-linked offers; it does not change offers already sent. Publishing an event does not confirm a booking. See [how bookings appear in your inbox](/support/bookings-events/bookings-inbox).
