# Understand fees and invoices for a booking
See which amounts are agreed between the parties and which gigiii invoices the venue.

The **artist fee** is part of the entertainer's offer to the venue. The proposal also records payment terms, and may include a deposit. gigiii does not collect or escrow that party-to-party payment.

At **Agree**, the venue sees the artist fee and the current gigiii marketplace fee quote and must acknowledge the displayed fee and invoice terms. The applicable fee can depend on the venue's current policy or plan, so review the displayed quote rather than assuming a fixed percentage. If the quoted gigiii fee is greater than zero, confirmation prepares a separate invoice to the venue. A zero gigiii fee does not generate a marketplace fee invoice. The venue can see its billing records under [Business settings → Invoices](/business/invoices); agreement downloads remain on the booking for both parties.

A gigiii invoice does not replace an entertainer's own invoice to the venue. Ticket sales and subscription charges are separate from the booking's artist fee.
