# Start booking as an entertainer
Publish your act, find venues, and turn a request into a confirmed booking.

1. [Sign in](/sign-in), choose the entertainer role, and complete the profile setup.
2. Add your act name, description, categories and any useful media. Follow the checklist in the [profile editor](/onboarding/setup), then publish to appear in venue discovery.
3. Complete [Business details](/business) so you can send or respond to booking terms.
4. Browse [venues](/marketplace/venues) or respond to a venue request in [Bookings](/marketplace/bookings). Use **Messages** for questions and **Proposal** for terms.
5. Send your final offer with the performance details, fee, payment and cancellation terms. Submission records your assent to those terms. The venue can then review and agree.

When the venue agrees, the booking is confirmed and both calendars are blocked. Both parties can download the agreement receipt. See [how agreements and deposits work](/support/payments-invoices/agreements-and-deposits).
